About

Get your walking boots ready for Sperrins Walking taking place from September 2023 across the Sperrins Area of Outstanding Natural beauty (AONB).

Led by Far and Wild through the scenic Davagh Forest and is 8km.  The Davagh Forest Walk will explore the geological, ecological and archaeological roots of the area around Davagh, including the Beaghmore Stone Circle alignments. The route will be on forest track, open country and minor road. Please prepare to walk across some rough ground during the walk.

Walkers will experience the warm local hospitality, food and entertainment afterwards in Shepherds Rest, Draperstown. This is a moderate walk suitable for those with a good level of fitness.

- Meeting point and registration 09:30am at Shepherd's Rest, Draperstown 
- Return 4pm
- Cost £10 per person
