About

Brendan Adams recently formalised his tour guiding business called Broagh Tours.  Broagh is a townland near the River Moyola and translated from Irish, bruach, means river bank. The same Moyola River flows a few fields down from Seamus Heaney’s first home at Mossbawn. Brendan’s home is three miles from Mossbawn and Seamus Heaney HomePlace in Bellaghy.

Brendan shares his passion for the local area with visitors as a qualified tour guide and his local knowledge of the locations in the village associated with the poet. The tour ends in Saint Mary’s cemetery where visitors can pay their respects at the poet’s grave.
