    This Moderate A-B Walk takes on the world view of the late Stone Age or Neolithic people who arrived predominantly into Ireland via the north of the island approximately 5-10,000 years ago.

      This moderate lakeside walk on minor road and trail, takes in Longpoint Wood Nature Reserve and pays homage to the natural flora and fauna along the lough-shore as well as the poetry of Seamus Heaney.

        Moneyneaney (Moin na nIonadh literally ‘Bog of Wonder’ in Irish) is a place ‘in the middle’, which many visitors to the Sperrins pass through on the road east or west.
