About

Walsh's Hotel is situated in the town of Maghera at the foot of the Sperrin Mountains.  Ideally located in Mid-Ulster central to Derry City, Belfast and the North Coast, all within a 40-50min drive, giving you the ideal base for your stay in Northern Ireland.

Walsh's offer elegant and comfortable accommodation to all it's guests, with a warm, friendly experience.  You can enjoy the cosy traditional Jack's Bar with live entertainment each weekend, top quality food in Helena's Coffee Shop & Bistro and you many enjoy a dance in Gravity nightclub (open bank holiday weekends and for special events).

The Great Hall is also available for functions, weddings and conferencing events.

Breakfast is served in Helena's Bistro: Monday - Friday: 7am - 12am. Saturday & Sunday: 8am - 11am

Lunch is served in Helena's Bistro: Sunday - Saturday: 12 noon - 4pm

Evening Menu is served in Helena's Bistro:

Sunday - Thursday: 4pm - 8pm. Last orders are at 7.45pm

Friday - Saturday: 4pm - 9pm. Last orders are at 8.45pm

Helena's Closes at 10pm so Coffee's, Tea & Pastries are still served from last orders to close if you fancy a catch up with Friends.


Jack's Bar Drinks are served in Jack's Bar: Friday: 5pm - C. Saturday: 2pm - C. Sunday: 1pm - C

Should you wish to avail of a drink outside these times drinks are also served in Helena's Bistro (opening times shown above).


Gravity Night Club Entry on door is £10pp Friday: 10pm - C. Saturday: 10pm - C. Sunday: 10pm - C (subject to Entertainment or Bank Holiday's)
