Step back in time as we take you and your family on an enchanted, magical tour of Benburb Priory House.

The tour will include letter writing on old slates in the magnificent grand library, peeking into the Fairy Godmother's, Santa's and Mrs Claus's bedroom. Story telling with the Fairy Godmother and creating some magic, making Reindeer dust with Mrs Claus. Finishing the tour with family time with Santa and picking up your gift from the Elves in the Workshop. If you wish you can visit the chapel and crib for private prayer and reflection. When outside, visit our donkeys, take a stroll around the grounds, warm yourself by the fire and admire the beauty of Benburb Priory which will be all lit up for Christmas. Don't forget your camera. Special sensory tours can be booked for Saturday 16th December 13.00 – 15.00.

What's included in the tour:
• Tour of Benburb Priory House (approximately 1 hour 20 minutes)
• Writing letters in the magnificent grand library
• Story Telling with the Fairy Godmother

• Mulled wine and shortbread
• A present from Santa
• One family photo with Santa (purchase more from the Elves)
• (Optional) visit our crib in the chapel
• Outside - Toasting marshmallows on the open fire
• Admire the Christmas lights as you take a walk around the grounds of the beautiful Benburb Priory.
Price: Child over 2 - £20, Adult - £15, Child under 2 - £10

If the children can't wait to see Santa, you can book your family onto our 'Express Santa'. This event will include some family time with Santa, then picking up your gift from the Elves in the Workshop. If you wish you can visit the chapel and crib for private prayer and reflection. What to wear:
The main tour and Santa will be inside the Benburb Priory Manor House but wrap up warm when you go outside for a walk around the grounds.

Wheelchair Access:
Express Santa – All areas accessible on the ground floor.
Santa's Enchanted Magical Tour – All activities accessible. There are steps in the hallway upstairs. Wheelchair users can use the lift to gain access to the upper floor with guidance from one of our Elves. When your group are returning to the ground floor, assistance will be available to use the lift so you can rejoin your group. Please advise us in advance so we can prepare for your visit. We recommend you book an early evening slot when it is not so busy.

Group Bookings:
If you have a large family/group of friends and want to have a private tour together, we can accommodate up to 30 people, but we advise that you ring our help line on 07895640660 and book early so we can allocate extra time for your group.

Parking
Parking will be made available in the main car park. There will be carparking attendants on hand to assist you as we are expecting it to be very busy. We advise that you arrive at least 10 minutes early as it may take time to park and make your way to reception.
Please note - Our Christmas Fair on Saturday 9th December and Sunday 10th December will be open until 5pm, so parking spaces may be limited on these dates, so please come early and enjoy the Fair, which is free to attend.

• Friday – 1st , 8th & 15th December, starting at 17.00, last tour leaving at 19.40
• Saturday – 2nd, 9th & 16th December starting at 15.40, last tour leaving at 19.20
• Sunday – 3rd, 10th & 17th December starting at 15.00, last tour leaving at 18.40
• Special Sensory Visits – Saturday 16th December, starting at 13.00, last tour 14.30

This event is run by a team of volunteers made up of members of the Benburb Priory Community, the local community, local businesses, local schools, music groups and many more. All proceeds from this event will help to preserve Benburb Priory for future generations to enjoy.
