About

For the past 10 years Stephen has been researching and writing about the 18th century. He specialises in the United Irishmen and the radical Ulster-Scots period, and has delivered many talks and guided tours on these subjects.

His publications include the "United Irishmen Emigre of Erin" and "The Battle of Antrim the Story of 1798". This talk will cover the origins and build up to the United Irishmen Rebellion and cover some of the lesser known aspects of the Rising and figures in the Tyrone area.
