Following a packed house last year, Paula McIntyre is back by popular demand for another unmissable evening celebrating the food, traditions, and flavours of Ulster-Scots. Ulster-Scotch Leid Week 2025 / Ulster-Scots Language Week takes place from 24– 28 November 2025. Come along to the Square Box, Ranfurly House on Wednesday 26 November 2025 (7.30pm start) for a free cookery demonstration with celebrity chef, Paula McIntyre. Using locally sourced produce, Paula will demonstrate how to cook several recipes associated with the food, traditions, and flavours of Ulster-Scots. This is an evening not to be missed. Advanced booking required.

Bio: Paula McIntyre trained as a chef at Johnson and Wales Culinary University in the USA and in restaurants in London and Ireland. She contributes to radio programmes on the BBC including the John Toal Show and The Kitchen Cabinet. Paula has filmed four series of "Paula McIntyre's Hamely Kitchen" for BBC Northern Ireland. Paula has also written three cookbooks, is the chair of the Irish Food Writers Guild, Director of Slow Food Northern Ireland, and a member of the Guild of Agricultural Journalists.
