About

Lissan House is a 400 year old family home nestled in ancient woodland and hugged by the Lissan Water. The estate has history going back beyond pre-Christian times. The recent history of the house and it's family will be on offer on EHOD giving you a glimpse of the fascinating characters and stories this golden place holds. This EHOD, the house will be open for a free flow tour of the ground floor. A guide in each room will tell you something of that particular room, important contents and stories of the family characters who used to live and sleep under it's roof.
There are also extensive walks throughout the estate to enjoy, a coffee dock for refreshments and our interactive children's trail (tickets to be purchased in advance online at www.lissanhouse.com).
