There are lots of self-catering cottages available for families to book. Spice Cottages and Beechmount Cottages, both outside Moy, near Dungannon, each have four attractive stone cottages available to rent, which makes them perfect for a big group holiday with extended family.

Glenavon House Hotel, in Cookstown, has family rooms available and often has offers for family breaks. If you’re looking for an affordable family hotel stay it’s worth keeping an eye out for those deals. With a 20-metre swimming pool and leisure facilities on site, there is plenty of family entertainment available.

Kids are also welcome at the Royal Hotel, in Cookstown, where a family room is available on request. The 4-star Corick House Hotel & Spa, in Clogher, offers family rooms and three-acre grounds in which to stretch little legs.

Get active on your family holiday

If you’re looking for accommodation where the whole family can burn off energy and enjoy an active holiday, there are lots of places to stay where the family can play and rest. The family friendly courtyard apartments at Blessingbourne Estate put woodland walks, mountain bike trails and much more on your doorstep.

For a truly action-packed holiday, stay on site at an outdoor adventure centre. Book into one of the Snooze Box glamping cabins at Todds Leap, near Ballygawley, or a glamping pod at The Jungle NI, near Moneymore.
