About
Step back to the Magherafelt of 1839, with a visit to the town’s Bridewell – a gaol for the criminals of the town
Meet with Mrs McKinley, one of the strict wardens, and walk the gloomy cells as she tells you of life within the Bridewell walls, the fate of the prisoners and the ancient graveyard attached to the prison.
Remember though – it is very easy to enter the Bridewell, but far harder to leave it…
