Christmas Celebration Concert

About

Get into the festive spirit at the Burnavon's annual Christmas Celebration Concert on Friday 5 December. In 2025, we will welcome two groups to the stage who are supported through Mid Ulster District Council's Community Arts Plan; there will be performances on the night from the Traditional Music in Schools Group and Cookstown Youth Choir. Following a stunning sold-out concert in 2024, Malachi Cush returns to the stage, bringing his much-loved collection of Christmas hits. The audience can look forward to timeless hymns such as 'Oh Holy Night', classics such as' Fairytale of New York' and his critically acclaimed composition, "Sleep, Oh Infant Child." Malachi has consistently showcased his passion and talent, earning praise for his ever-improving vocal abilities, often described as ageing like a fine wine. Malachi will be joined on stage by an incredible musical ensemble including the Drummond String Quartet and special guest this year will be Armagh Songbird, Catherine Grimley who makes her first ever appearance at the Burnavon for this magical and moving Christmas concert. Lynette Fay will compere the event. Early booking advised.
