Frank Skinner In Conversation

About

'His love for the poems he talks about really shines through, in a juicy, funny, and handson podcast that goes deep into how poetry intertwines with life and what it can do.' – Charlotte Runcie, Daily Telegraph

Frank Skinner loves poetry; he carries a pocket-sized book of poetry with him wherever he goes. He shares his love of poetry with listeners in his critically acclaimed Poetry Podcast, now in its tenth series. A household name – the comedian also known for his writing, acting and presenting – Frank describes his poetry podcast as 'one of my deepest joys'.

Frank Skinner's live career began in 1987 when he spent £400 of his last £435 booking a room at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Four years later he returned to the city and took home comedy's most prestigious prize, The Perrier Award. He's gone on to be one of the UK's most-loved comedians.

We are thrilled to welcome Frank Skinner to The Helicon to discuss his career and his passion for poetry with Scott McKendry
