About

Celebrate the arrival of Spring with an outdoor yoga workshop at the Beaghmore Stone Circles and take the opportunity to reflect and connect with the prehistoric ceremonial landscape and the people who created it. The site at Beaghmore consist of seven circles, 10 rows of stones and 12 cairns, which align with astronomical events and changes of the seasons.

This event is being delivered as part of the Living Heritage: Past, Present, Future project supported by Department for Communities Historic Environment Fund. This project focuses on the positive contribution the historic built environment can play in our everyday lives, and in preserving cultural heritage and supporting a sustainable future

Who should attend?

This workshop is open to all 18+, all levels of ability are welcome and no previous yoga experience is necessary.

The workshop will be taking place outdoors, and getting to the site will require crossing uneven ground and should be vigilant for potential trip and slip hazards.
