Movie Mayhem Brings Big Screen Magic to Maghera Walled Garden!
Families are invited to step into a world of film-inspired fun as Movie Mayhem transforms Maghera Walled Garden into a magical afternoon of adventure, fantasy, and entertainment.
The free family event, organised by Mid Ulster District Council, promises the perfect way to wrap up the summer holidays. Running from 12 noon to 4pm, the Walled Garden will be bursting with themed zones, exciting activities, and non-stop entertainment for children of all ages.
Offering immersive experiences inspired by beloved movie favourites:
The Greatest Showman Zone – circus workshops, magicians, and a lively ringmaster bringing the big top to life.
Jurassic Park Zone – Get up close with a towering T-Rex, baby dinosaurs, fossil making, and snap a photo at the Jurassic Jeep booth.
Fantasy Zone – rock painting and messy play sessions, with appearances from family favourites Stitch and a Minion.
Outdoor Fun – inflatable games,climbing wall, sporty challenges, mobile cinema. (Don't forget your blanket and popcorn!)
Food & Refreshments – Local food traders serving BBQ favourites, sweet treats, coffee, and ice cream
* FREE Tickets will be released at 12 noon on Tuesday, 26 August and can only be reserved via Eventbrite.
Each ticket allows for a one-hour visit to the Walled Garden, with entry slots available at 12pm, 1pm, or 2pm. Please register only one ticket per person attending, including children. Activities on the green and the lane are open and do not require a ticket.
