OM Dark Sky Park imagery of the Milky Way over Davagh forest and river

About

Discover the magic of our native rivers and the fascinating creatures that live there! Little explorers will uncover the secrets of Irish river life.

From the tiniest critters to larger residents and create, their very own river creatures through fun crafts in our indoor Exhibition Area. Then, we'll head outside for a guided walk to the beautiful Davagh Water. As the sun sets, the adventure continues with a journey into the cosmos. Junior astronomers will turn their eyes to a different kind of river – the river in the sky, the Milky Way – with stargazing in Northern Ireland's only Dark Sky Park.

This event takes place in collaboration with the NI Science Festival, running from 11–22 February.
