About

An exciting weekend of food and entertainment will take over Moy Village in County Tyrone on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 March with the arrival of the first 'Taste Mid Ulster' market.

The market, organised by Mid Ulster District Council, will showcase the very best of Mid Ulster's local food, produce and crafts from all across the district, and will include exclusive foodie experiences, chef demonstrations, with a focus on our delicious local produce, and a range of crafts sure to cater for every taste.

Sean Owens, international 5 Star chef, and Norah Brown MBE, will deliver the cookery demonstrations across the weekend ensuring to make the most out of all the delicious local produce available.

The market will feature over 20 stalls of local food, produce and crafts including Ben's Ice Cream, Ballyriff Buffalo, Fluffy Meringue, Grace Scott Pastel painting, Calm Soul Candles and Woodlab Distillery, to name only a few.

As well as the market, there will also be performances on stage throughout the weekend from a number of local bands and artists, including the popular 'Tiny Green Island' and 'Copper Rose'. Musical entertainment will also take place in the bars and restaurants in the village for the duration of the market.

There's lots to keep children entertained too with activities such as face painting and balloon modelling taking place as well as a variety of walkabout characters to meet and greet.

The market will take place from 11am-7pm on Saturday 9 March and from 1pm-5pm on Sunday 10 March.
