Christmas concert

About

Join us at the Burnavon Theatre, Cookstown on 4th December 2026 for our annual Christmas Concert which takes place on Friday 4th December. In 2026, we welcome two groups to the stage who are supported through Mid Ulster District Council's Community Arts Plan; in the first half there will be performances from pupils from the Traditional Music in Schools Group and Cookstown Youth Choir.

Malachi Cush returns following two sold-out concerts in both 2024 and 2025 and brings his much-loved collection of Christmas hits to the stage. Audiences can look forward to hymns such as 'Oh Holy Night', classics such as 'Fairytale of New York' and his own beautiful composition of 'Sleep, Oh Infant Child'. Malachi is no stranger to the Burnavon stage and has consistently showcased his passion and talent, earning praise for his vocal abilities. Malachi will be joined on stage by his full ensemble band and Drummond String Quartet. Keep an eye on our social media for the announcement of this year's special guests!
